Facebook has just confessed to block the account belongs to someone who claims to be the leader of al-Qaeda, Osama Bin Laden.
As quoted from ABC News, so far the account has been posting content-laden 'Islamic extremist' and have managed to reap the 1000 members of the fan.
Facebook pages were also dubbed Osama Bin Laden as the "Prince of Mujahideen" and called the location on the profile: on "the mountains of the world."
Osama is believed to be hiding in the mountainous middle of a row between Pakistan with Afghanistan.
This account also has to post the speech and voice recordings from some extremist Islamic leaders.
According to ABC News, the speech itself is a production of the media group, Al-Sahab, the media affiliated to Al-Qaeda.
"People often register an account in the name of a famous person and we have a standard technical measure designed to prevent this kind of behavior," said spokesman Andrew Noyes Facebook.
It is unclear whether this page is operated by parties close to Osama as well as with his supporters. Clearly, this account has been blocked by Facebook since Friday last week.
"Based on standard practices that we apply, we have blocked the account."
