Although still serving as Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani Indrawati start could be fashionable as World Bank officials. This is apparent from his speech at a welcoming speech PT Indonesian Infrastructure Assurance (PII), with jokes, Sri Mulyani act arrogant.In the form of jokes, in the midst of his speech he teased the World Bank Country Director Joachim von Amsberg. Though there's Country Director in addition there are also representatives of friendly countries, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), ambassador of Singapore and other countries.
"It's my little direct speech, because Joachim saw me as a boss," said Sri Mulyani in Room Mezanine Ministry of Finance, Jakarta during the inauguration ceremony followed by the laughter of the participants of the inauguration, Tuesday, May 11, 2010.
Sri Mulyani said in his speech was well aware that there was an ambassador. But, he said, it is true that to build the infrastructure that the government could not own.
PT PII, became one of the executors of government policy.
"Everything that exists in Indonesia is an asset to support me at the World Bank. The goal is that conditions are now more advanced in order to achieve public welfare," he said.
Besides bersendagurau Minister also apologized for the inauguration that contain these important people, the event must be delayed because of waiting for his arrival.
"I'd have a cabinet meeting which discussed how to support funding for programs until 2014," he said.
