Content industry exhibition in Australia to Indonesia

Delegation of the content industry and mobile telecommunications solutions (mobile) Australia show of force in Jakarta by organizing exhibitions for the first time in Indonesia to be held starting today and ends tomorrow.

Australian Ambassador Bill Farmer said the deployment of a timely event for the telecommunications market to consider as one of the fastest growth industry.

"This exhibition will provide a unique opportunity in the exchange of information and best practices in the dynamics of the telecommunications industry and mobile services [mobile]," said Bill, Thursday.


Events held at the Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta, is promoting Australia's unique strengths in technology and innovative mobile services (mobile) by introducing the company's leading providers in the sector to the perpetrators of Indonesia's creative content industry and the telecommunications industry.

They are the exhibitors, followed by content developers, providers of emergency warning application, infrastructure providers and mobile infotainment services, security and authentication solutions provider, mobile service providers online, and mobile learning technology. The delegation includes exhibitors including BoxSentry, Ferntree Asia Pacific, Crewjo, Gambit Group, Unico Computer Systems and QPay.

Australian Embassy to invite representatives from the digital creative industry organizations such as Indonesian Indonesia Mobile and Online Content Provider Association (IMOCA), Indonesian Infocom Society (MASTEL), Animation and Content Industry Association of Indonesia (Ainaki), Creative Industrial Society Information and Communication Technology Indonesia (MIKTI ) and the Software Association of Indonesia (Aspiluki).

Sungkari Day, General Secretary MIKTI said Indonesia is a potential market for creative industries such as content. "However, Indonesia still needs the content industry alignments from the government [as policy makers] in helping to create markets and strengthening the industrial structure," he told Bisnis.com.

He said the Australian content industry to explore possible cooperation alihdaya. Australian digital content industry was growing rapidly and has contributed to the economy in that country. The event was organized by the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade), aims to promote the cellular industry of Indonesia and Australia's unique strengths in technology and mobile innovations.
