Google sued Five American Photographers Association

Five associations in the U.S. photographer sued Google for its actions displays the photos on the internet without permission. The lawsuit related to the program posted scanning books in the Google Books project.

The five organizations in assessing the scanned books there are many pictures of the results keratif copyrighted. Google is considered to let the foot-image appeared on the Internet with copyright megabaikan photographers.

The five organizations that objection is the American Society of Media Photographers, the Graphic Artists Guild, the Picture Archive Council of America, the North American Nature Photography Association, and the Professional Photographers of America. The lawsuit filed in the same court with a lawsuit over the validity of the book scanning project.

In a previous lawsuit, Google is finally required to pay penalties to the authors. Total fines to be paid amounted to 125 million U.S. dollars as compensation for copyright infringement.

Responding to demands of photographers, Google does not give a damn. "We are very confident Google Books in accordance with copyright law in the U.S. and around the world," said Google spokesperson told eWeek.
