Extreme Weather

BMG issued warn that extreme weather might occur between 19 to 21 January 2010.

The existence of a low pressure area to the north and north western Australia that forms part of the meeting place / meeting winds extending from the central part of Sumatra and Java Sea to Sea to West Papua, Maluku, which affects the growth process of the rain clouds in the surrounding region. Value labilitas labile enough air, the humidity is quite large and the sea temperature is still warm rain cloud growth, particularly in the eastern part of Indonesia.

Areas with a potentially heavy rains accompanied by lightning and strong winds are:

* Southern Sumatra
* West Coast of Sumatra
* East Coast of Southern Sumatra
* Kalimantan, West and East parts
* Jabodetabek
* Most of the island of Java
* North Sulawesi, Central and South
* Bali
* Nusa Tenggara
* North Maluku and Southeast
* Guinea Central and South

Although if you see a light rain, but often changing quickly become very heavy in accompanied by lightning / thunder and high winds a short duration. Extreme weather was almost uniformly, particularly in the Kep. Seribu, Jakarta Utara, West Jakarta, Tangerang, and Bogor.
